Marshall Mid ANC vs Skullcandy Uproar (2015)

Analysis:

The Marshall Mid BT ANC makes for a good, if unremarkable, On-Ear Headphone for people with a $240 budget.

The Skullcandy Uproar (2015), however, is merely mediocre at its $12 asking price, when compared to similarly priced products, and won't satisfy the needs of most people.

In either case, we suggest that you first take a look at some other options at the $240 and $15 price points before committing to one of these - it's likely that you'll be able to find some better alternatives.

If you're still interested in learning more about the Marshall Mid BT ANC and Skullcandy Uproar (2015), however, we wrote a summary of what we could find about them:

The Marshall Mid BT ANC was loved by reviewers at PCmag, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best Noise-Cancelling Headphones for 2021" roundup where it was named its "Ranked 3 out of 12", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

Moving on to the Skullcandy Uproar (2015): no sources that perform reliable and objective hands-on testing have included it in their On-Ear Headphone roundups, which usually means that a product doesn't make for a good purchase.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these On-Ear Headphones, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Marshall Mid BT ANC got its highest, 9.4, rating from Lifewire, while the Skullcandy Uproar (2015) earned its best, 8.3, score from Runnerclick.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other On-Ear Headphones on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by On-Ear Headphones being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the Marshall Mid BT ANC and Skullcandy Uproar (2015) managed averages of 8.0 and 8.3 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Marshall Mid BT ANC vs. Skullcandy Uproar (2015) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
