The Steelseries Apex Pro (2019) has done great in quite a few roundups from some of the most highly trusted sources available, such as TechGearLab, Rtings, and hardwarecanucks.com, which perform high-quality in-depth testing. It got awarded the "Top Pick" title by TechGearLab, "Best Mechanical Keyboard For Gaming" by Rtings, and "Ranked 2 out of 4" by hardwarecanucks.com in their respective roundups. Earning that much praise from such respected sources is undoubtedly an impressive accomplishment.

As for the Microsoft LXM-00001, it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a reliable source that's known for conducting its own, high-quality, in-depth testing. It performed great in its "Windows 11 Accessories You're Going to Want" roundup and was named its "Ranked 1 out of 8", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

We tried doing a direct Steelseries Apex Pro (2019) vs. Microsoft LXM-00001 review score comparison but couldn't find any sources that tested both.

Next, we took a look at which sources liked them best and found that the Steelseries Apex Pro (2019) most impressed the reviewers at Techradar, who gave it a score of 10, whereas the Microsoft LXM-00001 did best in its PCmag review - it scored 8 points.

Finally, we also compared their review scores to the rest of their competition - the Steelseries Apex Pro (2019) earned an average review score of 8.9 out of 10 points and the Microsoft LXM-00001 received an average of 8.0, compared to the 7.4 average of Mechanical Keyboards in general.
