Skullcandy Crusher (2016) vs Mixcder E7

Analysis:

The Skullcandy Crusher Wireless (2016) is a relatively good Closed-Back Headphone for people that are willing to spend around $130. The Mixcder E7, by contrast, is quite unremarkable and doesn't stand out in any meaningful way from other products at this price point.

In both cases, however, we recommend that you take look at some other options at the $130 and $25 budget ranges; in all likelihood you'll find some better alternatives.

If you're still interested in learning more about the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless (2016) and Mixcder E7, however, we wrote a summary of what we know about them:

The Skullcandy Crusher Wireless (2016) was loved by reviewers at Rtings, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The 6 Best Bass Headphones - Fall 2020" roundup where it was named its "Best Headphones With Powerful Bass", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

Taking a look at the Mixcder E7, it got featured in roundups from two reliable sources that conduct their own testing - Head-fi and TrustedReviews - but it fell short of earning a top spot in either.

We conducted an analysis of all of the review data that we could find on these two products. First, we focused on sources that tested and rated both of them, like Head-fi, and learned that they all showed a preference for the Mixcder E7.

Then we took a look at the highest review scores that these two Closed-Back Headphones received. We found that the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless (2016) managed to earn a rating of 9.1 from Gadget Review, whereas the Mixcder E7 got its highest, 10, score from reviewers at Head-fi.

Lastly, in order to better compare them to the rest of their competition, we averaged out their review scores. The Mixcder E7 managed to get 8.0 out of 10 - considerably better than the 7.4 review average of Closed-Back Headphones in general - whereas the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless (2016) earned 7.4 points.

It should be said that doing a direct Skullcandy Crusher Wireless (2016) vs. Mixcder E7 comparison might not be entirely fair due to the difference in their prices - some sources don't put much weight on value for money and thus tend to give better review scores to more expensive products.
