Mountain Buggy Nano V2 vs Thule Sleek

Analysis:

The Mountain Buggy Nano V2 is a great Standard Stroller for its $189 asking price.

The Thule Sleek, however, is merely passable at its $849 price point. If you're considering buying a Standard Stroller in the $860 range, you might want to check out some of its competitors.

The Mountain Buggy Nano V2 was loved by reviewers at Wirecutter (NYTimes), a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best Travel Strollers" roundup where it was named its "Budget pick", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Thule Sleek - it impressed reviewers at inews.co.uk, a trustworthy source that conducts solid hands-on testing. It did great in its "12 best prams and pushchairs – how to choose between Silver Cross, Ickle Bubba and more" roundup - in fact, it earned its "Ranked 2 out of 12" title, which, on its own, indicates a certain level of quality.

We conducted an analysis of all of the review data that we could find on these two products. First, we focused on sources that tested and rated both of them, like BabyGearLab, and learned that they all showed a preference for the Thule Sleek.

Then we took a look at the highest review scores that these two Standard Strollers received. We found that the Mountain Buggy Nano V2 managed to earn a rating of 9.6 from verywellfamily.com, whereas the Thule Sleek got its highest, 10, score from reviewers at BabyGearLab.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Mountain Buggy Nano V2, with its 8.5 average, performed considerably better than most Standard Strollers - the mean score for the product category being 7.0 out of 10 - while the Thule Sleek managed an average of 10.0.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Mountain Buggy Nano V2 vs. Thule Sleek review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
