Crucial P5 Series SSDs vs Mushkin Delta

Analysis:

The Crucial P5 250GB has done great in a couple of roundups conducted by highly trusted sources that perform objective in-depth testing, like Wirecutter (NYTimes), Tom's Hardware, and PCmag - it earned the "Runner Up" title from Wirecutter (NYTimes), "Best Value PCIe 3.0 M.2 SSD" from Tom's Hardware, and "Best Overall Value M.2 PCI Express 3.0 SSD" from PCmag. Any product that's held in high regard by such reliable sources should be considered by anyone that's looking for a Internal SSD at this price point.

As for the Mushkin Delta - it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best Cheap SSDs for 2022" roundup and was named its "A Solid Alternative to the ADATA XPG Gammix S50 Lite", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Internal SSDs, including PCmag, preferred the Crucial P5 250GB over the Mushkin Delta.

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The Crucial P5 250GB was liked best by tweaktown.com, which gave it a score of 9.4, while the Mushkin Delta got its highest, 6, score from PCmag.

Lastly, in order to better compare them to their competition, we averaged out their review scores and found that the Crucial P5 250GB got received considerably better than the majority of other Internal SSDs - it earned an average of 8.5 out of 10 points, compared to the 7.8 overall rating of other Internal SSDs - while the Mushkin Delta performed worse than most of its competitors, with its average review score of 6.0.

It's worth keeping in mind, however, that a direct Crucial P5 250GB vs. Mushkin Delta comparison might not be realistic since they're priced differently and some sources have a tendency to review more expensive products better than cheaper ones.
