Razer BlackWidow V2 (2017) vs PFU Happy Hacking Professional 3 Hybrid

Analysis:

The Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 is a great Mechanical Keyboard for its $89 asking price.

The PFU Happy Hacking Professional 3 Hybrid, however, while a reasonable product for $370, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Mechanical Keyboards in the $330 range, you might want to check out some better options.

The Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 has managed to impress reviewers from some of the most highly trusted sources on the internet, including Rtings and Wirecutter (NYTimes). It performed great in their in-depth hands-on roundups - it was awarded the "The best tenkeyless keyboard" title by Expert Reviews and "Best Razer Keyboard For Office" by Rtings in their respective Mechanical Keyboard roundups. That's high praise, especially when coming from such high-quality sources.

As for the PFU Happy Hacking Professional 3 Hybrid, it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a reliable source that's known for conducting its own, high-quality, in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best Wireless Keyboards for 2021" roundup and was named its "Best for Extreme Key-Switch Connoisseurs, Programmers", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

We conducted an analysis of all of the review data that we could find on these two products. First, we focused on sources that tested and rated both of them, like PCmag, and learned that they all showed a preference for the PFU Happy Hacking Professional 3 Hybrid.

Then we took a look at the highest review scores that these two Mechanical Keyboards received. We found that the Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 managed to earn a rating of 7 from PCmag, whereas the PFU Happy Hacking Professional 3 Hybrid got its highest, 8, score from reviewers at PCmag.

Lastly, in order to better compare them to the rest of their competition, we averaged out their review scores. The PFU Happy Hacking Professional 3 Hybrid managed to get 8.0 out of 10 - considerably better than the 7.4 review average of Mechanical Keyboards in general - whereas the Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 earned 7.0 points.

It should be said that doing a direct Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 vs. PFU Happy Hacking Professional 3 Hybrid comparison might not be entirely fair due to the difference in their prices - some sources don't put much weight on value for money and thus tend to give better review scores to more expensive products.
