Analysis:

The Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO Series Keyboard (2018) is a great Wired Keyboard for its $159 asking price.

The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005), however, while a reasonable product for $329, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Wired Keyboards in the $310 range, you might want to check out some better options.

The Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO Series Keyboard (2018) was loved by reviewers at PCmag, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best Gaming Keyboards for 2021" roundup where it was named its "Best for Fast-Action Gamers", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

Returning to the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005), it managed to impress reviewers from two sources that are considered to be some of the most highly trusted on the internet, thanks to their in-depth hands-on testing - TechGearLab and Tom's Guide. It performed great in their respective Wired Keyboard roundups - it was named "Best Bang for the Buck" by TechGearLab and "Ranked 1 out of 4" by Tom's Guide. That's quite an endorsement, especially coming from such high-quality sources.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Wired Keyboards, including idg.com.au, preferred the Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO Series Keyboard (2018) over the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005).

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO Series Keyboard (2018) was liked best by Techradar, which gave it a score of 10, while the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) got its highest, 7, score from idg.com.au.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO Series Keyboard (2018), with its 8.8 average, performed considerably better than most Wired Keyboards - the mean score for the product category being 7.4 out of 10 - while the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) managed an average of 7.0.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Roccat Vulcan 120 AIMO Series Keyboard (2018) vs. Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
