Nesco FD-1018A vs Samson SB10xB

The Nesco FD-1018A makes for an outstanding Food Dehydrator at $179. The Samson SB106, however, while overall a good product for its asking price, doesn't quite manage to stand out from its competition - there are better Food Dehydrators that can be found for around $75 available here.

The Nesco FD-1018A managed to earn a spot in roundups from two sources that are known for their trustworthy review methodology - TechGearLab and Wirecutter - but fell short of making it to the top of their lists.

Returning to the Samson SB106, Wirecutter, a source that's known for its high-quality in-depth testing, has great things to say about it. In fact, it was named its "Also great: Samson Silent 6-Tray Dehydrator" in its "The Best Food Dehydrator" roundup, which is quite a feat.
