Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe Series SSDs vs Samsung 850 PRO Series SSDs

Analysis:

We couldn't find enough data on either product to be able to come to any reliable conclusions. We highly recommend that you take a look at some other options instead.

The Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe Series M.2 1TB was loved by reviewers at MakeUseOf, a trustworthy source that performs objective hands-on testing. It did great in their "The 7 Best NVMe SSDs for Faster Performance" roundup - in fact, they named it their "Ranked 2 out of 7". That, by itself, points toward it being a noteworthy Internal SSD.

As for the Samsung 850 Pro 1TB - it impressed reviewers at MakeUseOf, a trustworthy source that conducts solid hands-on testing. It did great in its "3 Simple Ways to Save Money When Building a New Computer" roundup - in fact, it earned its "Ranked 2 out of 3" title, which, on its own, indicates a certain level of quality.

We examined all of the review data that we could find and first took a look at sources that reviewed both of them, like TechSpot, and found that they haven't shown a preference for either product.

Then we checked which sources liked these two Internal SSDs best and found that the Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe Series M.2 1TB got its highest, 9.1, review score from reviewers at TechSpot, whereas the Samsung 850 Pro 1TB earned its best score of 10 from Techradar.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Internal SSDs on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Internal SSDs being 7.8 out of 10, whereas the Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe Series M.2 1TB and Samsung 850 Pro 1TB managed averages of 8.6 and 8.5 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe Series M.2 1TB vs. Samsung 850 Pro 1TB comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
