Samsung 860 Pro Series SSDs vs Adata SU800 Series SSDs

Analysis:

The Samsung SSD 860 Pro 4TB was loved by reviewers at Tom's Hardware, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "Best SSDs 2021: From Budget SATA to Blazing-Fast NVMe" roundup where it was named its "Best Prosumer SATA SSD", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Adata SSD SU800 256GB - Techradar, a source that conducts reliable hands-on testing, has featured it in its Adata Ultimate SU800 SSD review roundup. However, it didn't make it to any of the top spots.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Internal SSDs, including Techradar, preferred the Samsung SSD 860 Pro 4TB over the Adata SSD SU800 256GB.

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The Samsung SSD 860 Pro 4TB was liked best by Techradar, which gave it a score of 9, while the Adata SSD SU800 256GB got its highest, 9.5, score from Gadget Review.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Samsung SSD 860 Pro 4TB, with its 8.4 average, performed considerably better than most Internal SSDs - the mean score for the product category being 7.8 out of 10 - while the Adata SSD SU800 256GB managed an average of 7.7.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Samsung SSD 860 Pro 4TB vs. Adata SSD SU800 256GB review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
