The HyperX Cloud II (2015) is an exemplary product and sets the bar for all other Gaming Headsets at the $90 budget.
The Sennheiser GSP 350, however, is merely passable for its price. We suggest taking a look at some better options if you're considering buying a Gaming Headset in the $180 range.
Two highly trusted sources that perform well-thought-out in-depth testing consider the HyperX Cloud II (2015) to be a great product - it earned the "Most Durable Budget Gaming Headset" title from Rtings and "Ranked 2 out of 8" from Digital Camera World in their respective Gaming Headset roundups, which is a good indication of it being a notable product.
As for the Sennheiser GSP 350 - PCWorld, a source that conducts reliable hands-on testing, has featured it in its Sennheiser GSP 350 review: A gaming headset that sounds a lot better than it looks roundup. However, it didn't make it to any of the top spots.
We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Gaming Headsets, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.
We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the HyperX Cloud II (2015) got its highest, 10, rating from appuals.com, while the Sennheiser GSP 350 earned its best, 8, score from Digitaltrends.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Gaming Headsets on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Gaming Headsets being 7.2 out of 10, whereas the HyperX Cloud II (2015) and Sennheiser GSP 350 managed averages of 8.5 and 8.0 points, respectively.
Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct HyperX Cloud II (2015) vs. Sennheiser GSP 350 comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
