EcoVacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI vs Shark IQ R10x (RV100x)

The EcoVacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI is a great Robot Vacuum for its $749 asking price.

The Shark IQ R101AE (RV1001AE), however, while a reasonable product for $549, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Robot Vacuums in the $450 range, you might want to check out some better options.

The EcoVacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI has impressed reviewers from two sources that are among the most highly trusted on the internet, namely PCmag and Tom's Guide. It did great in their objective hands-on roundups - it earned the "Our No. 1 Premium Pick" and "Best for simultaneous vacuuming and mopping" awards from PCmag and Tom's Guide, respectively. That's high praise from such reputable sources.

Moving on to the Shark IQ R101AE (RV1001AE): it was unable to reach the very top of any roundups from sources that conduct reliable and unbiased testing. Nonetheless, it still managed to impress reviewers from a number of such sites, like Modern Castle, Rtings, Tom's Guide, Reviewed, and Smart Robot Reviews, enough for them to include them on those lists.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Robot Vacuums, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the EcoVacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI got its highest, 9, rating from Android Central, while the Shark IQ R101AE (RV1001AE) earned its best, 9.4, score from Modern Castle.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Robot Vacuums on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Robot Vacuums being 7.2 out of 10, whereas the EcoVacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI and Shark IQ R101AE (RV1001AE) managed averages of 8.4 and 7.7 points, respectively.
