The Nivea Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm makes for an outstanding Aftershave at its $16 price point. The Shave Tonic, however, while a good product overall, doesn't really manage to stand out from its competition.

The Nivea Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm was loved by reviewers at ShaverCheck, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "What’s The Best Aftershave For Electric Razors?" roundup where it was named its "Ranked 2 out of 6", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

Taking a look at the Shave Tonic, we found that it hasn't managed to perform well enough to earn a spot in any Aftershave roundups done by sources that conduct their own, high-quality, hands-on testing. That alone makes it difficult to recommend.
