Tribit Flybuds C1 vs Skullcandy Indy

Analysis:

The Tribit Flybuds C1 is an exemplary product and one of the very best Earphones at the $65 budget.

The Skullcandy Indy, however, doesn't seem to have enough data available for us to be able to draw any meaningful conclusions. If you're considering Earphones in the $45 range, you might want to check out some other options.

Two highly trusted sources that perform well-thought-out in-depth testing consider the Tribit Flybuds C1 to be a great product - it earned the "Budget pick" title from CNET and "Best for Bass Lovers" from PCmag in their respective Earphone roundups, which is a good indication of it being a notable product.

Moving on to the Skullcandy Indy: it was unable to reach the very top of any roundups from sources that conduct reliable and unbiased testing. Nonetheless, it still managed to impress reviewers from a number of such sites, like Rtings, Headphone Review, SoundGuys, CNET, and Techradar, enough for them to include them on those lists.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Earphones, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Tribit Flybuds C1 got its highest, 9, rating from nerdtechy.com, while the Skullcandy Indy earned its best, 7.9, score from Headphone Review.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Tribit Flybuds C1, with its 8.2 average, performed considerably better than most Earphones - the mean score for the product category being 7.3 out of 10 - while the Skullcandy Indy managed an average of 6.9.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Tribit Flybuds C1 vs. Skullcandy Indy review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
