It did great in their roundups - it was dubbed "A versatile mirrorless camera at a good price" by Tom's Guide, "Best entry-level mirrorless camera" by CNET, and "Best Entry-Level Nikon Camera" by Rtings. That's high praise coming from sources of such caliber.
Taking a look at the Sony α6600 (2019), we found that it was received really well by reviewers from highly trusted sources that conduct objective in-depth testing, including Tom's Guide, Wirecutter, and Digital Photography Review - it was named "The best mirrorless camera for video" by Tom's Guide, "Best vlog-camera image quality for the money: Sony α6600" by Wirecutter, and "Ranked 2 out of 2" by Digital Photography Review in their respective roundups. Any product that's praised by this many of the internet's most trustworthy sources should be considered by everyone who's in the market for a Mirrorless Camera at this price point.
