The Steelseries Apex Pro (2019) has done great in quite a few roundups from some of the most highly trusted sources available, such as TechGearLab, Rtings, and hardwarecanucks.com, which perform high-quality in-depth testing. It got awarded the "Top Pick" title by TechGearLab, "Best Mechanical Keyboard For Gaming" by Rtings, and "Ranked 2 out of 4" by hardwarecanucks.com in their respective roundups. Earning that much praise from such respected sources is undoubtedly an impressive accomplishment.

As for the Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 (2009) - it wasn't considered to be a good enough purchase to earn a spot in any roundups conducted by sources that perform objective hands-on testing, which typically indicates that a product isn't worth its asking price.

Lastly, we tried to do a direct Steelseries Apex Pro (2019) vs. Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 (2009) comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 (2009).

Compared to all other Mechanical Keyboards on the market, however, the Steelseries Apex Pro (2019) performed great. When averaged out, it earned a rating of 8.9 out of 10, which is much better than the 7.4 review average of Mechanical Keyboards in general.
