TP-Link Archer AX6000 vs TP-Link Archer A5

The TP-Link Archer AX6000 has managed to impress reviewers from some of the most highly trusted sources on the internet, including Tom's Guide and Tom's Hardware. It performed great in their in-depth hands-on roundups - it was awarded the "Best non-gaming router for gamers" title by Tom's Guide and "Best Non-Gaming Specific Router" by Tom's Hardware in their respective Wi-Fi Router roundups. That's high praise, especially when coming from such high-quality sources.

Taking a look at the TP-Link Archer A5, we found that it hasn't managed to perform well enough to earn a spot in any Wi-Fi Router roundups done by sources that conduct their own, high-quality, hands-on testing. That alone makes it difficult to recommend.

Lastly, we tried to do a direct TP-Link Archer AX6000 vs. TP-Link Archer A5 comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the TP-Link Archer A5.

Compared to all other Wi-Fi Routers on the market, however, the TP-Link Archer AX6000 performed great. When averaged out, it earned a rating of 8.4 out of 10, which is much better than the 7.4 review average of Wi-Fi Routers in general.
