The ViewSonic Elite XG270QC 27" is a great Monitor for its $449 asking price.
The BenQ PD3200U, however, while a reasonable product for $699, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Monitors in the $660 range, you might want to check out some better options.
The ViewSonic Elite XG270QC 27" got praised by Tom's Guide and Tom's Hardware - two highly trusted sources that perform in-depth hands-on testing. It was awarded the "Best curved QHD monitor" title from Tom's Guide and "Best Budget HDR Gaming Monitor" from Tom's Hardware in their respective Monitor roundups.
Moving on to the BenQ PD3200U: it was unable to reach the very top of any roundups from sources that conduct reliable and unbiased testing. Nonetheless, it still managed to impress reviewers from a number of such sites, like shotkit.com, Techradar, PCmag, Windows Central, and Wirecutter (NYTimes), enough for them to include them on those lists.
We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Monitors, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.
We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the ViewSonic Elite XG270QC 27" got its highest, 9, rating from Tom's Hardware, while the BenQ PD3200U earned its best, 9.4, score from MonitorNerds.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Monitors on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Monitors being 7.3 out of 10, whereas the ViewSonic Elite XG270QC 27" and BenQ PD3200U managed averages of 8.8 and 8.3 points, respectively.
