Vitamix Classic G-Series (2011) vs Vitamix Smart System

Analysis:

The Vitamix Pro 750 is one of the very best Countertop Blenders that one can get for around $490. The Vitamix A2500, however, while a very good choice at its $380 price point, falls just short of being remarkable.

The Vitamix Pro 750 got praised by Tom's Guide and TechGearLab - two highly trusted sources that perform in-depth hands-on testing. It was awarded the "The best blender overall" title from Tom's Guide and "Ranked 3 out of 12" from TechGearLab in their respective Countertop Blender roundups.

As for the Vitamix A2500 - it was really well-received by reviewers at TechGearLab, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best Blenders of 2020" roundup and was named its "Best for Heavy-Duty Blending", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

We examined all of the review data that we could find and first took a look at sources that reviewed both of them, like TechGearLab, and found that they haven't shown a preference for either product.

Then we checked which sources liked these two Countertop Blenders best and found that the Vitamix Pro 750 got its highest, 9, review score from reviewers at TrustedReviews, whereas the Vitamix A2500 earned its best score of 8.8 from TechGearLab.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Countertop Blenders on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Countertop Blenders being 7.3 out of 10, whereas the Vitamix Pro 750 and Vitamix A2500 managed averages of 8.9 and 8.8 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Vitamix Pro 750 vs. Vitamix A2500 comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
