Analysis:
The Xerox Phaser 6510 hasn't managed to get enough recognition from sources that do high-quality hands-on testing and therefore didn't make it into any relevant roundups. That, by itself, makes it difficult to recommend.
Moving on to the Brother HL-L2300D: it was loved by Good Housekeeping and Windows Central - two reliable sources that conduct their own in-depth testing. In fact, it was named "Best Monochrome Printer" and "Ranked 2 out of 3" in their respective roundups, which points to it being a product worthy of consideration.
We also wanted to do a direct Xerox Phaser 6510 vs. Brother HL-L2300D review performance comparison, but we, unfortunately, weren't able to find any Xerox Phaser 6510 review scores.
Finally, we compared the Brother HL-L2300D to other Home Printers on the market and found that it did much better than its competitors - its review average of 8.7 out of 10 points is considerably higher than the 7.1 review average of Home Printers in general.
