Nokia 1 (2020) vs ZTE Axon (2019)
The Nokia 1.3 (2020) managed to impress reviewers from two reliable and unbiased sources that conduct their own hands-on testing, namely Android Central and Expert Reviews. It performed great in their roundups - it earned the "Top Pick" title from Android Central and "Best smartphone under £100" from Expert Reviews, which makes it a product worthy of consideration.
As for the ZTE Axon 10 Pro (2020) - it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best Chinese Phones" roundup and was named its "Best for 5G Fans", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.
We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Smartphones, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.
We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Nokia 1.3 (2020) got its highest, 10, rating from Expert Reviews, while the ZTE Axon 10 Pro (2020) earned its best, 9.2, score from Gadget Review.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Smartphones on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Smartphones being 7.5 out of 10, whereas the Nokia 1.3 (2020) and ZTE Axon 10 Pro (2020) managed averages of 7.7 and 7.6 points, respectively.
Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Nokia 1.3 (2020) vs. ZTE Axon 10 Pro (2020) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
