The Netgear RS400 was loved by reviewers at Laptop Mag, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "Best Wi-Fi routers in 2022" roundup where it was named its "Best Wi-Fi router for the security-conscious", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.
As for the Zyxel Multy X WSQ50 (2017), it wasn't able to earn a top spot in any roundups from trusted sources that conduct their own hands-on testing. Nevertheless, it managed to impress reviewers at Expert Reviews, CNET, and PCmag enough to make it onto their respective shortlists.
We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Wi-Fi Routers, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.
We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Netgear RS400 got its highest, 9, rating from tweaktown.com, while the Zyxel Multy X WSQ50 (2017) earned its best, 10, score from Expert Reviews.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Wi-Fi Routers on the market.
