Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Beautiful high-res screen
The Tab S 8.4 features a bright, incredibly high resolution (2560 x 1600) Super AMOLED screen that's not oversaturated
Pro Very thin and light
One of the thinnest and lightest tablets, at 0.26" and 10 oz
Pro Micro SD Card Slot
A micro SD card slot is extremely useful not only for storage expansion but for the ease of transferring data.
Pro Magazine UX
Magazine UX is a unique new approach to a tablet UI. It is a customizable layout of social, app, and news widgets in a tile-like layout. Although the addition hasn't received the best first impressions some such as CNET have "eventually came around to liking it, since the Magazine UX added more photography, as well as colorful imagery, to the day-to-day tablet experience." Fortunately the new addition to Samsung's skin can easily be ignored if you don't like it. Only one Magazine UX page is required and is not the default home screen that will be opened up to.
Pro Great Battery Life
Better expected battery life than most of its competitors, at about 12 hours on a charge.
One of Samsung's best enhancements is MultiWindow. MultiWindows allows you to run two apps on the screen simultaneously. Running two apps on the same screen is not possible on devices with stock Android such as the Nexus 7, a significant advantage for Samsung.
Pro Galaxy Perks
Typical "owner rewards programs" are nothing to get excited about but Galaxy Perks is actually quite exciting.
