With self-drive cars becoming legal in the UK in 2015, and already being legal in Nevada, is there anywhere you can buy them, or is this law purely to allow research & test-bed work to progress prior to commercialising? http://www.driverless-future.com/?page_id=155

The laws have been designed pretty much only to allow for testing AFAIK. I see a Google Driverless car on the road every other day here, but it always has a meat-sack in the drivers seat.

Thanks Stuart. It looks like the UK's going to get some slow-ubers, so no backup-brain, but little risk too: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-24849948
