Gameplay rewards risk
Letters only last a finite amount of turns before turning into a stone that cannot be played, making it important to clear letters before they become stones. However, you get more points for using letters with a high amount of turns left, making it more rewarding to use letters that will stay in play longer instead of clearing the dying letters.

Has a one time purchase for unlimited play
The game has a "honey" currency that regenerates over time that you must spend to play levels, but you can pay $4.99 once to get unlimited honey. There is a coin currency as well, but it is easily available, and only rarely used for treasure events and for waking up a powerup bear early. While "rare" powerup bears take several hours to nap, common bears only take a few minutes, and you will never run out of common bears. Rare bears are not overpowered, and have alternate abilities on par with common bears, so waking them is not essential to playing the game. You can easily play the game without using any coins at all. The one time honey purchase also gets you 25% extra coins from naturally occurring in game coins.

It's fun to collect bears
Every bear has different abilities and a cute outfit, and if you hatch the same bear more than once, it upgrades. This mini-rpg element makes it more rewarding to beat levels as you get a permanent reward afterwards, and collecting things is fun.

Clever spatial based gameplay
Most of the game's interesting gameplay comes from how end of level bonuses work. Tiles that have been played merge into the largest square that can fit in the area, turning into bears. You get the most points for making the biggest bear, encouraging you to play tiles that allow for larger bears instead of playing them wherever they happen to be. This makes the gameplay more interesting, because you aren't simply trying to form the biggest word, but you want to prioritize certain letters more than others.

Very polished design
The artwork looks nice, the UI is simple and clean, and the bears are cute. The polish that went into the game shows and makes it feel nicer to play.
