Pros
Pro Great performance
The Mediatek Helio P10 processor might not be very well known (at least compared to Qualcomm's Snapdragon or even Samsung's Exynos processors), but it offers some great performance for the price. Other than playing graphics-heavy games, the Elephone P9000 won't lag. It also comes with 4GB of RAM which makes switching between recent apps a breeze - making it feel faster and saving a bit on battery life (because it doesn't need to re-open apps nearly as often as phones with less RAM).
Pro Good software experience
Elephone keeps the software close to stock Android (found on Nexus phones and Pixel phones) which isn't typical of Chinese manufacturers. They add a few useful features, such as drawing a "C" on the screen when the display is off to launch the camera, as well as a "clear all" button in the recent apps tray. They also don't add a ton of bloatware - pre-installed apps that don't offer any useful functionality and often slow down phones.
Pro Great 5.5" display
As like many other Chinese phones, the Elephone P9000 comes with a 5.5" display. This display offers a lot for the price - it doesn't sacrifice on viewing angles, remains bright enough to read in direct sunlight, and thanks to the tiny (1.6mm) bezels on either size the screen looks like it goes right to the edge of the phone.
Cons
Con Doesn't always recognize light touches
As with some of Elephone's other budget offerings, the digitizer sometimes has a hard time picking up light touches. Sometimes it works OK, but other times you'll need to touch the screen harder a second time for touches to register. This adds frustration to typing, gaming, or anything else that requires accurate touches.
