Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Epic story
Halo 5 continues the Halo franchise with a fantastic campaign that picks up where Halo 4 left off. While it does end in a bit of a cliff hanger, and of course we'd all love to see more Master Chief, Halo has had one of the best ongoing stories in the whole FPS genre.
Pro Free DLC
Halo 5 has already announced and released 2 DLC packs for Halo 5, including new maps, armor, weapons, game types, emblems and even the Forge: Halo's custom map making tool kit/environment; all within the first 3 months of the game launching. More monthly DLC drops have been promised.
Pro Gorgeous graphics
Halo 5 runs at dynamic resolution and 60 fps, and has some amazingly beautiful and detailed landscapes and locales.
Pro Balanced multiplayer
Halo has always claimed a fairly balanced multiplayer system, that puts emphasis on skill rather than perks that give players with more time spent an advantage in better weapons, vehicles and other bonuses.
Con No local Split Screen
A moot point for some, but the developers claimed that in order to maintain the integrity of 1080p & 60 fps, there would be no local split screen co-op/multiplayer. This saddens many, as it was what made us all love Halo before Xbox Live was even a thing.
