Fantastic teacher

It's easy to tell how enthusiastic the instructor/creator of the tutorials is about Unity. He teaches in a very clear way, including tips and tricks as he goes.

The tutorial includes 285 walk through videos that can be used to follow along and see how Unity really works.

Some tutorials are dated

The main draw back is that the first version of Hack & Slash is quite dated (uses Unity 3). However the author has started creating new tutorials with Unity5, including a new Hack & Slash series in the works.
