Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Great for touchscreen
Osmos has nailed touch controls as the game is completely based around them wherein players touch on their orb in order to have it blast out bubbles in the opposite direction in order to propel oneself in the directions they need to go.
Pro Great physics engine
Physics play a big role in Osmos where objects have their own gravity and the player needs to adjust and count for how their orb will be effected by their gravity and how to take advantage of it. By using an objects gravity to pull in ones orb they will use less fuel (bubbles) which is a limited resource required for movement.
Pro Relaxing soundtrack
The music is really soothing and mellow. The loop takes a while to repeat but it doesn't seem to bother me even after multiple repeats.
Pro Beautiful visual design
Aesthetic is clear and beautiful. It gives necessary gameplay information in a minimal style that is just pleasant to look at.
Con Can be difficult at later levels
Towards the late game Osmos become pretty difficult, which can be frustrating for what is supposed to be a relaxing game.
