Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Good selection of ports
1 2.0 USB, 2 3.0 USB, HDMI, SD card reader, Headset jack combo, and ethernet. This selection is better equipped than many competitors in this field, which won't have as many USB ports, often not a full HDMI port, and rarely an ethernet port.
Con Poor tablet-mode design
When the laptop is folded over to tablet mode, there is a gap due to the tapered design that means the two pieces of the laptop don't fully close.
Con SDRAM, not DDR
SDRAM is the first generation synchronous dynamic random access memory, which only transfers one word per clock cycle, whereas most competitors use the second generation, DDR, or double data rate. Thus, the 8GB of SDRAM is deceptive in that it doesn't result in as high of a level of performance as an 8 GB DDR RAM, and in fact, transfers about half the data in the same period of time.
Con Plastic build
Since the casing is made entirely of plastic, there will be durability issues such as being prone to scratches.
Con Heavy for a 13.3"
3.77 pounds, which can be over a pound heavier than competitors in the 13.3" space.
Con Poor battery life
Less than 6 hours with Wi-Fi enabled, and just over 7 hours for idling. Much less than the advertised 12 hours.
