The DOI SmartRing takes the idea of the smartwatch, and boils it down even further. It still alerts you of incoming calls, text messages and other notifications, however it's an early generation product which is still bulky and not ideal to wear every day.

Pro Selective notifications
You can personalize which notifications get passed along from your phone to the ring, or just set it so that only texts and calls get sent.
To view other notifications, you can swipe on the screen either way to see the next icon.
Pro Notifications on your finger
When you get a notification on your phone, the ring will vibrate, and the display will show the icon of the app. It will also count how many notifications have been missed from each app, and any important text will scroll along.
While functional, the DOI SmartRing is too bulky for most people. It is large, yet still has a screen too small to view notifications in a convenient way.
Con 1 day battery life
The DOI will need to be charged daily, as the display takes up a lot of power for such a small battery.
