PIXOFF serves to save battery by applying a filter that turns off pixels. Fully user configurable, it allows several different types of predefined patterns and densities as well as allows the user to create their own patterns.
PIXOFF also has built-in functionality to apply a color filter to the pixels that are turned on (Filter night). Being able to turn off the blue light can be beneficial as it can be harmful to the eyes.
It also has the functionality to put the wallpaper to pure black to thereby increase the durability of the battery.
