Pro Year long battery life
The Eve is powered by a single half-length AA battery, and its expected runtime is about 1 year.
Pro Attractive minimalist design
Both parts of the Elgate Eve are white rectangular boxes with slightly curved edges, and they look great. There aren't any gaping ports or other eyesores on them.
Cons
Con Replacement batteries are hard to find and expensive
The 1/2AA batteries this device uses allow it to be more compact, however these batteries are significantly more expensive and harder to find than a regular battery standard.
Con No push notifications
You won't be notified when a door or window is opened - instead you will have to open the app and check the history (or ask Siri).
