The Garmin nüvi 2789LMT uses built-in Bluetooth and a dedicated Garmin Smartphone Link app to connect the GPS to your Android or iPhone device. You can input addresses in your smartphone to start the navigation on the GPS later, and it's also possible to save your favorite addresses via the mobile app. You can transfer data between the GPS and the Smartphone Link app with a single tap.

Garmin offers all users of a nPuvi 2789LMT free lifetime traffic and map updates, to ensure the GPS always stays completely up to date.
Pro Accurate
The 2789LMT series perform well in terms of accuracy and is able to connect to GPS satellites within a couple of minutes. Positioning is perfect, even in complex traffic situations and all maps are accurate and logically displayed.
Pro Capacitive display
The display on the nüvi 2789LMT use the capacitive touchscreen technology, just like modern smartphones. This allows you to easily pinch and zoom and touch the display gently. Some other GPS devices in the same price category also have a touchscreen but aren't capacitive (such as the TomTom GO LIVE 1535M) and are a lot harder to control as a result.
