The Garmin nüvi 2789LMT uses built-in Bluetooth and a dedicated Garmin Smartphone Link app to connect the GPS to your Android or iPhone device. You can input addresses in your smartphone to start the navigation on the GPS later, and it's also possible to save your favorite addresses via the mobile app. You can transfer data between the GPS and the Smartphone Link app with a single tap.

The display on the nüvi 2789LMT use the capacitive touchscreen technology, just like modern smartphones. This allows you to easily pinch and zoom and touch the display gently.
