Pro Extended side bezel that is more ergonomic to hold
The side bezel allows for easy grip on one side of the device, much like holding a book one handed. Due to the bezel being extended there is now no worry of your fingers getting in the way of the screen, especially since there are physical page turn buttons, which means you do not need to touch the screen to turn the page. The screen will also auto rotate, which means you can hold the device left or right handed on the bezeled side.
Pro Auto screen rotation
The Kindle Oasis allows for auto screen rotation, no matter which direction one is holding the device the text on the screen will orientate itself in order to display properly. On older devices this had to be done manually, but is no longer such an issue.
Pro Extended battery life
The Kindle Oasis comes with a case when purchased that has a built in extended battery adding months to the battery longevity of the device.
Pro Easy to access physical page turn buttons
Some eReaders are now only touchscreen, meaning you have to touch the screen in order to turn a page in an eBook. With the physical page turn buttons on the Oasis, this is no longer an issue (for those that do not like touching the screen or just prefer physical buttons).
Con Pretty expensive
While the device does come with a case with extended battery (something older models did not and would add cost to the total package), the total price is pretty high when compared to other popular eReaders, even in the Kindle line.
