Pros
Pro There's a lot strategy in the digivolving system
Digivolving your partners in this game will send them straight back to level 1. So, there are quite a few things to take into consideration when making the decision to digivolve or not. Are you at a point in the game where you can spend some time powering up? Do you have any looming major encounters ahead of you? Things like this become very important.
Pro It appeals to a more mature audience than the Digimon of the past
Digimon Cyber Sleuth was made with a bit darker of a story, in an attempt to appeal to more mature audiences. Suffice it to say that it was brilliantly done, and will leave you wanting more.
The game takes place in a cyber world - think something like Second Life, and sets you up as a Cyber Sleuth - a person whose job is investigating cyber related crimes in the world, as hackers have been taking over and causing real-world problems, including comas and death.
Pro Solid classic JRPG elements
The game features classic JRPG turn-based combat, dungeon crawling, random enemy encounters, and customizable party members (Digital Monsters).
Cons
Con No English Dub
The game is fully voiced in Japanese, providing only English subtitles. The lack of English voice-overs may be a turn off for some people.
