Pros
Pro Excellent lights and signals
It is equipped with high-visibility LED head light and signals, which are much brighter than halogen lights. LED lights also use 85% less power.
Pro Recharge on or off the moped
The batteries can be removed and can be recharged on or off the frame. This also means that when the battery has drained or was not recharged, you can replace it with a spare and still be able to use the moped while recharging the drained battery.
Pro Good suspension system
It has a full spring suspension system that helps a lot when riding off roads or rough terrains.
Pro Good security features
The steering column can be locked for security. To enable this, you just turn the steering column to either side and turn the key counterclockwise for an extra click. Once locked, you won't be able to turn it to the other direction.
Pro Excellent brake system
Gigabyke uses hydraulic brakes rather than the usual cable wire discs. Hydraulic system multiplies how much effort you put at the lever; therefore, the actual braking force is greater than the force applied, making it excellent for sudden stops.
Pro Complete with display readouts
It is equipped with the following readouts: speedometer, odometer, battery level indicator, and lights indicator.
Pro Convenient pedaling position
Its slim design allows a convenient pedaling position, like bicycles would.
Pro Six colors to choose from
The Gigabyke Groove is available in six colors: white, black, green, blue, yellow, and red.
Cons
Con Too heavy to pedal
Weighing 180 lbs plus your weight, this makes it difficult to pedal.
Con Low max weight capacity
The maximum weight allowable is only 250 lbs. It is quite low compared to others that have around 330 lb weight limit. It can accommodate two people, but you have to be mindful of your weight and your passenger so that you don't exceed the weight limit. However, this no problem for petite people.
Con Lack of storage space
The only space you have that give some sort of storage space is a little rack behind the seat that you can use to mount a cargo and a hook at the steering column for your helmet or plastic bag.
Con Weak motor for uphills
The body of this motor is quite heavy, weighing 180 lbs. With its weight and that of the driver, the motor is not strong enough for going uphills. At slopes 10 degrees or greater, the moped struggles and you may end up on foot, pushing the moped up the hill.
