Pros
Pro Convenient operation due to included remote
All of this AC's functions can be adjusted using the included remote. This means that you will not need to walk up to the AC itself to adjust settings.
Pro Basic controls are easy to understand and covers the essentials
This AC unit is not complicated at all to use. It features a digital thermostat, 3 fan speed settings and an Energy Saving mode.
Pro Not annoying to live with as it is pretty quiet for a window AC
Most non-split type ACs can be really loud, but this one is relatively quiet. This unit produces around 60dB of noise, but instead of a high pitched sound, it produces a low pitched hum which is arguably a lot less of an annoyance.
Pro Good cooling capability for its size/price
Despite being a relatively compact AC, the LW8016ER cools pretty well. It can cool down a medium to large sized room at around 80 degrees F down to around 70 degrees F in around half an hour or so at medium fan speed.
