While some colors fade faster than others, they all fade quite nicely and don’t leave an ugly in between colors shade. They just get lighter. It also takes a while for it to fade out completely but does eventually completely wash out (usually after about 2 1/2 months) (update by some one else) I have NEVER been able to wash it out completely. Even after trying to on purpose for a month straight so i could do another color. It just fades to a pastel and kind of stays there. This is after 6+ months. See More
