Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pro Multi-function cooker
It is capable of the following functions: pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker/porridge maker, steamer, sauté/browning, and warmer. With all these functions, it brings flexibility in the way you cook and what you can cook using only a single appliance
Pro LCD color indicators let you know what stage the cooker is in
The LCD screen change colors depending on what process the pressure cooker is currently doing. It turns blue when it is turned on and being programmed, orange when it is cooking and building/releasing pressure, and gray when turned off.
Pro Easy to clean
The inner pot, gasket, and condensation cup are all dishwasher safe. The hinged lid is detachable and dishwasher safe as well.
Pro You can add custom programs
You can customize one pressure cooking program, where you can set the time, pressure, and opening method, and one slow cook program where you can set the time and temperature.
Pro No need to worry about where to place the drippy lid
The lid is uniquely design in that it is attached to the pot with a hinge, so you won't have to figure out where to put down the hot and drippy pressure cooker lid.
Pro Dual sensors for accurate pressure/temperature adjustment
It is equipped with sensors at the top and at the bottom to accurately monitor the pressure and temperature. It will adjust both for optimal results.
Pro Release steam safely
You can safely release steam because it has a hands-free steam release function to make sure that your hands are nowhere near the steam vent. This can be set automatically or manually.
Pro Keeps food warm
It has a keep warm function that guarantees the food is always warm when served. The keep warm function is set automatically, but can be set manually as well.
Con The lid is awkwardly hinged to the right
The lid is hinged to the right of the controls and it interferes when you are cooking or removing food. If you orient the pot so that it doesn't interfere, the controls will end up on the side making it hard to operate its control. For example, a right-handed person cannot easily get food because if they were to use a ladle with their right hand, the lid would block their arm. They would be forced to use the left hand to reach the food without the lid blocking their way.
The ideal position of the hinge should be at the back, opposite the controls, so that it does not interfere when you are cooking or getting food.
Con More expensive compared to other 6-quart pressure cookers
The cost of around $250 is significantly higher compared to the prices of other 6-quart pressure cookers. They range from $90 to $120 for electric pressure cookers, and from $40 to $60 for stovetop pressure cookers.
