MacLaren Volo Review

While most umbrella strollers have short sun canopies, the Volo has a built-in sun visor and an extendable hood you can unzip from the back and spread out wide. It is made of a mesh which allows better air flow to help keep the inside cool and comfortable.

You can either carry it by hand it or put it on your shoulder using the included straps. This is useful for urban parents who take public transportation; it won't inconvenience other passengers since it is very tightly folded.

Most parents resort to umbrella strollers simply because they want a light one they can easily lug around and store. Weighing only 10.6 lbs, you can easily push and turn this stroller anywhere.

The stroller is equipped with a single brake that stops both wheels, instead of relying on two individual brakes.

The fabric is made of a durable mesh which is waterproof and can protect your child from the rain. The package also includes a detachable rain cover for improved coverage against the wind and the rain.

Children unbuckling themselves from their straps can be a source of worry for many parents. Fortunately, the Volo's buckle has a two-way aviator lock that you have to press hard simultaneously using your thumb (top lock) and index finger (bottom lock.) Your children will find it difficult to press, since they cannot exert that much force yet.
