The Omega NC800 Nutrition Center is a great option for those who are looking to juice a lot of leafy greens, like kale, spinach, wheatgrass, and sprouts but want an option for juicing soft fruits too. This model can also double as a food processor for turning nuts into nut butter, making baby food, soy milk, extruding pasta, grinding coffee and spices, and chopping and mincing various ingredients.

Pro Adjustable for different ingredients
The Omega NC800 has an endcap with 5 settings, that lets you adjust how much juice do you want to extract from the product. For the hard vegetables and leafy greens, the adjustment should be set to 4-5, for soft fruits - 1-2, this way you can get the maximum amount of juice without clogging up the mesh screen.
Pro Great yield of juice from leafy greens
The Omega NC800 is great at extracting juice from leafy greens such as spinach, wheatgrass, and kale. While going through the horizontal auger, ingredients are being crushed twice - in the initial crush the juice is extracted through the first mesh screen located at the bottom. The pulp is then passed through tighter space where it is squeezed the second time against a cylindrically-shaped screen. It is more efficient than vertical single-stage auger juicers. This juicer will yield about 20% more juice from leafy greens than the previous Omega models in this line (J8004/5/6/7/8) because of the bigger mesh screen and an adjustable end cap.
Pro Minimal oxidation for preserved taste and nutrients
The Omega juicer has a motor that operates at 80 RPM - it squeezes ingredients with minimal oxidation, preserving natural taste & nutrients, which would be lost by high-speed centrifugal juicers that grind, crush, and heat the ingredients due to a fast-rotating blade. The extracted juice can stay in the fridge for up to 72 hours without losing much of its nutrients (for best results it should be stored in a glass jar, filled right up to the top).
Pro Has other uses besides the juicing
The Omega NC800 can be used for other things too, like making nut butter, grinding coffee beans, making sorbets, and extruding pasta (not making pasta dough!). It can even chop and mince, doubling as a food processor. The tools for this are included with the juicer.
Pro The juicer will last for a long time
Due to the low power motor and the fact it doesn't heat up, it will last longer than standard centrifugal juicers.
The Omega NC800, unlike its predecessors' in the Omega Nutrition Center line, is BPA-free. This means there is no possibility that any chemicals from plastic containers can seep into the juice.
Con Juice can be pulpy
This juicer doesn't have any kind of sieve or strainer for the extracted juice, which means your juice can have some fine pulp in it, especially from soft apples or tomatoes.
Con Takes up quite a lot of space
Horizontal juicer requires more space on the counter than a vertical one - the footprint of the NC800 is large at 6.5 x 15.5 x 14.5 inches. It has a built-in handle if you want to move it, but it's not convenient to put it away every time because of its weight of more than 17 lbs.
