There are 14 cycles to choose from, ranging from the normal cycle to specialized cycles, for things such as bedding items or sportswear. There are also cycles that add steam and it’s possible to download custom cycles from LG’s smart app.

When it comes to aesthetics, this dryer definitely stands out. The metal, chrome, and glass construction looks great and feels solid. The machine’s front is a large glass door with all of the controls on it. There is no conventional door handle, further improving its aesthetics.

The DLEX 5000 has Wi-Fi support, allowing it to be connected to smart devices via an app.
