Despite the impressive performance level, this unit doesn’t use much electricity. There is a thermostat that turns the compressor on and off to maintain the desired temperature, and you can schedule a timer for more efficient operation. On top of that, this unit has a dual-hose system, making it more economical and efficient compared to units with only one exhaust hose.

This AC unit comes equipped with a standard reusable pre-filter that traps dirt, pet hair, and other large particles. Additionally, it has two other filters: an activated carbon filter that removes odors from the air and an antimicrobial air filter that stops mold and mildew growth and keeps the air free of small particles that could be potentially damaging.

The built-in auto-drain feature pulls moisture out of the air and turns it around to cool down the air while exhausting the condensate outside the room. Using moisture this way not only helps more economically (in terms of electricity consumption), but also saves the hassle of draining the unit from condensate and reduces air humidity.

In the event of a power outage, the unit will resume working using its last programmed settings, once the power is back.
