With this bag you don't have to choose between a lightweight design or good insulation. This sleeping bag weighs only 2 pounds and two ounces so you will barely even feel that you even have it when going backpacking. Despite the light weight, it still keeps you warm in temperatures as low as 21 degrees.

This bag has increased room at hips, decreased room at shoulders and extra insulation in critical heat-loss areas.

Very good weight-to-warmth ratio is achieved thanks to the Water repellent 700 fill power duck down filling. Such high fill power is usually found on much more expensive bags.

The comfort temperature of the bag is rated in 21 degrees Fahrenheit while the survival temperature is as low as 9 degrees. This means that the bag can be used in a tent in wintertime without feeling cold.
