The bag weighs under 3.75 pounds for “regular” size and 4.1 pounds for “long” size. While there are lighter bags in this price point, the warm-to-weight ratio will be much worse.

The bag can be used either in warm summer nights as well as in temperatures below freezing point. You should feel comfortable in temperatures as low as 20 degrees Fahrenheit if you have a sleeping pad underneath you. On top of that the coating is water resistant so misty mornings will not make the sleeping bag moist.

While most of the sleeping bags in this price point uses synthetic filling, this bag has a duck down filling. The filling has a 550 fill power meaning that the bag will keep you warm in low temperatures. As a comparison low quality down filling has a 300 fill power while very expensive bags have 800.

You can get the sleeping bag in two sizes – a “regular” size for people up to 6’ 1” and the “long” version that is suited for people up to 6’ 6” or have a wide body.
