You have to buy squirrel baffle or figure out a way how to hang it so the squirrels can’t access it as the feeder is lacking any kind of protection from squirrels.

Since the bird feeder can’t be washed in a dishwasher nor disassembled easily so it will take some time to clean it thoroughly manually.

The base for the birds to land only accommodates small birds so birds like woodpeckers will have a hard time feeding from it. This can be easily overcome however by adding additional space where the birds can land.
