Pro Bedroom friendly
With no LEDs or lights it's somewhat bedroom friendly.
Pro The right kind of "dumb" to be used with smart switches
Onboard smart features become obsolete pretty quick. Some appliances are better dumb when they serve a simple funciton and where longevity is more important. A smart switch is all the function that is really needed (turn the unit off and on). Can't adjust speed but typically you will just leave it on a preferred setting anyways.
Pro Handles VOCs and Odors
Most other air purifiers do not handle these (or only do so to a token/negligible amount)

Con "Dumb"
It has no smart features or smartphone connectivity features.
Con Expensive filter replacement
