Pro Doesn't require too much prior knowledge
The only real requirement is understanding Javascript.
Pro 17 Hours of video sessions
The course includes a lot of topics such as in-app navigation, simple animations, re-using components, async actions using Redux, authentication and simple DB usage using Firebase and some more.
Pro Explains everything from the beginning
It even includes tutorials for how to set up your IDE and emulators on both Windows and Mac.
Cons
Con A bit out dated
Since the course was recorded there has been a few releases of both RN and the tools & libraries that are being used in the course. Most of the course's content is still very relevant but in some occasions requires the learner to look online for things that changed a bit. It doesn't matter much since the main purpose of this course is RN's principles which are conveyed well and didn't change.
Con No support from the author
In a quick search through the forum, you'll notice no feedback or support of any kind from the course's author. This tells you that the author merely posted it, cashed out, and moved on with no intention of supporting it. That doesn't bode well for the community.
