Hand-crafted overworld
Judgement's world is made with intent in mind, so the way you experience the game world is exactly how the developers intended. Resources are purposefully spread out and points of interest are strategically placed. This gives the game a bit more of a cohesive feeling.

Suffers a bit of an identity crisis
Judgement feels almost like it's not sure what it wants to be. The game is tile based like a turn based RPG, but it's played in real time like an RTS. The units aren't very smart and the map is layed out like a turn based game, but lacks the tactical options of one.

Unique graphics
While it isn't a classically "good looking game", Judgement's graphics really grow on you after a while. The style is hard to pin down, but it's somewhere along the lines of hand drawn. Example

Con
Combat can be dull
The combat in Judgement doesn't have a ton of options. There aren't any abilities your survivors have, so you're limited to the basic main weapon, utility item or buff, debuff, healthpack, or grenade.

Pro
Increasingly difficult resource gathering
To build new buildings or items you have to go out and scavenge the surrounding areas for materials. However, the supplies around you won't last forever and you'll soon find yourself risking more and more dangerous missions for resources. This leads to some tricky situations that require you to think quickly and clearly about to get out alive.

Upgradeable weapons and crafting
You can unlock new buildings and weapons via researching. Research takes place back at your home base, and the later tiers of research allow for magical items that can be unlocked with occult points. The system is a little tedious at first, but the higher tier loot can be very rewarding.

Tactical combat
Judgement takes a sort of hands-off approach to tactical combat. While you have to micro-manage your units and soldiers, they'll continue to fight on their own for the most part.
